Leave Milan for a one hour southerly drive to beautiful Parma.  Upon arrival at our centrally located hotel, meet with our local guide for a Walking Tour of Historic Parma which includes Palazzo Pilotta, Ducale Park, the Duomo, Campanile and Baptistry.

Step-over to the Farnese Theatre located in the vast 16th century palace of the Farnese family.  This most unusual and intricate wooden structure was rebuilt to its original state after it was destroyed during WWII.  Visit Galleria Nazionale, a treasure trove of fine paintings containing artworks by Fra Angelico, Bronzino, El Greco and two large paintings by Ludovico Carracci.  -  Leisure time allotted to explore Parma on your own.
