Board your comfortable motorcoach for Florence, one of the world’s greatest artistic capital.   Have a Guided Walking Tour of Florence including the Santa Maria del Fiore Duomo, Piazza della Signoria, Ponte Vecchio over the Arno River and Piazza San Marco. Visit Gallaria dell’Accademia with its most famous work on display, Michelangelo’s David.  The Academia also contains an important collection of paintings by 15th and 16th century Florentine artists and its major works include the Madonna of the Sea by Botticelli and Venus and Cupid by Jacopo Pontormo based on a preliminary drawing by Michelangelo.

Enter the Uffizi which is Italy’s greatest art gallery with a matchless collection of paintings.  This iron and glass building was once used by Francesco I to display the Medici family art treasures.  Admire the Birth of Venuse by Botticelli, the Holy Family by Michelangelo, the Venuse Urbino by Giorgione, the Duke and Duchess of Urbino by Piero della Francesca and the Annunciation by Simone Martini.

Free time allotted to explore Florence, shop at a wonderful fabric store, have a gelato, visit Santa Maria Novella or venture around town. 

  In late afternoon, zoom over to the Galleria Ferrari in Modena.   This official Ferrari Museum, founded by Enzo Ferrari in 1945, has on display the most prestigious cars of the history of the company, classic engines, images, designs and memorabilia relating to these fast racing cars.
