After lunch, return to Rapallo, which you may recognize as the 1954 film location of the Barefoot Contessa.   Visit the celebrated Rapallo Lace Museum, housed in the summer residence of the historic Genoese family Spinola.  The museum collection consists of over 1,400 rare and precious hand-made laces dating back from the 16th to the 20th century with some award-winning pieces and approximately 5,000 lace patterns and drawings.
